In a departure from their normal type of gig - Celtic Clan played at Cheltenham festival on St Patrick's day - and rocked the Guinness Village.

Over 3,500 people packed into the enclosure to see them play, and enjoyed 8 sets from the band over the day.

Celtic Clan specialise in varied party music ranging from a full Irish night to a mixed party night, and this gig certainly tested the repertoire! However, the racegoers loved everything from Whisky In the Jar through to their unique rendition of 'Poker Face' by Lady Ga Ga.

Bandleader Ruth Graham said, "That's the beauty of Celtic Clan. Although we're essentially a celtic band, we can do anything. And every set is individually planned especially for the event we're doing."

To see the Cheltenham gig - just log on to You Tube and type in 'Celtic Clan Cheltenham'. Three videos will then come up to watch.

Enjoy!
